Ursan and perma sf
With whats happened to perma sf farming and ursan in Uw we know that anets got plans for august regarding both.
Ok perma sf was ''abused'' for Uw and theres no denying that but we all know ursans abused as well - im not starting a fight so carry on reading before making comments.
Perma sf buff/nerf affected not just sins but anyone who uses sin as second and sf ... so my question would be if we had to come up with ideas how to safeguard perma sf and ursan use outside of uw/fow what would you suggest ?
For example ... we know below lvl 20 entry into eotn you get buffs and when in pvp our skills change .. why not add to uw/fow something similiar.. maybe have skill alteration on entry ... sf gets its 50% dmg reduction still and ursan say maybe 1 pip hp loss similar to the -2 pips nrg regen - as we dont know what anet has planned for ursan we can only speculate.
It would be nice if we the players could show anet without complaining that as a comunity of players we can work together and maybe learn not to abuse skills/builds as yes its great to use but end of day we affect everyone else be it thru skill nerfs/buffs or major falls in the economy ( ecto prices drop and so on ).
Why should players who dont do uw/fow pay the price when ectos drop and by that i mean they manage to save enough cash to get a weapon which was maybe 100k and 2 ectos and then find out ectos drop in price and they now need extra ectos to cover the drop.
Ectos are the 2nd currency and many will agree when prices were stable you knew where you stood in prices and not have to re work out the value of something.
And please dont say 55 monks are just as bad - ive not seen any 55 monks go into uw and walk out with loads of ectos going solo .. 55 monks as far as im aware tend to stay out of uw/fow unless in a team with a necro and we know they are limited to where they can travel.

So essentially you want players to stop abusing skills on their own without Anet having to nerf said skills? In a perfect world that would be nice, but human nature is to take any advantage it can find and use it no matter what the cost. Sounds a little idealistic but go for it

is this a rant in the farming section? ppl will abuse whatever is the most effective and quickest and another way to look at it is taking advantage of something that works very efficiently instead of abuse
either way, its how GW has always operated, you have to adapt to the changes

Perma SF IS broken even if the only thing you could do with it would be to farm dust/stones/wood/anything that has no value.
The fact that you now do 50% less damage just shows that A.Net has no clue what they are doing in PvE.
Surely you can guess what my stance on Ursan and CoP is.

Funny how ppl reply and dont even offer any ideas , myself ursan and perma sf dont matter to me even if anet removed them - i dont use ursan and rarely use sf so if they set it bk to prebuff it wont matter to me.
Remember sf farming was around before ursan and was mainly used for boss farming - dont recall ppl moaning about sins for that.

1.remove the -50% from SF
2.UW nightmare : Well of the Profane or Chilblains

Problem there CE chillblains now needs a target to cast its no longer that pbaoe affect. Or the could just give the Dream riders leech sig or sig of disenchant either one would perma nerf soloing that area.

oh wait let's nerf the whole game into smithereens so the poor man stays poor and the rich rich?
The problem is the nerfs to shadowform didn't fix anything it just made it worse, shadowform farming was better off with it's old duration (also applies to the old chaosplains which took longer to do than it's now and alot harder but not impossible to do)
My opinion is to revert the Chaosplains to it's old former self (no Factions skills) and revert Shadowform to the old duration
It could fix alot
